How to Make an Online Reservation

To schedule a tutoring session, email cdssec@fiu.edu with the following information:

  • Student Information: Full name, Panther ID, and email (Include all participants for group sessions).
  • Course Details: Course ID and preferred modality (in-person or online).
  • Preferred Time: Desired date and time from the flyer hours, plus 2–3 alternative options in case your first choice is unavailable.

You will receive a confirmation email with your session details.

For online sessions, a Zoom link will be included in your confirmation email.  We strongly recommend using a laptop or desktop, as mobile devices do not include all Zoom features.  If you encounter any issues, please email cdssec@fiu.edu. 

If you need to reschedule or cancel, please notify us as soon as possible.

Individual Appointments

The following procedures are for individual appointments ONLY. 

  • Email cdssec@fiu.edu with the following information 
  • Name, Panther ID, email, and desired date and time 
  • Please include 2-3 other appointment options in case the day and time is already scheduled
  • An email confirmation will be sent with the tutoring session information and the Microsoft Teams link for your session
  • On the day of your session, go to the email and click on the link provided
  • Sign in with your FIU student credentials 
  • Select “Join A Meeting” 
  • Enter Meeting ID or Personal Link ID 
  • Please give notification if you need to reschedule or cancel

Group Sessions

Group sessions are being conducted through Microsoft Teams. The following procedures are for group sessions ONLY.

  • Email cdssec@fiu.edu with the following information 
  • Name, Panther ID (for all participants), email (for all participants), and desired date and time 
  • Please include 2-3 other appointment options in case the day and time is already scheduled  
  • Your group facilitator will email you the Microsoft Teams link for the session
  • On the day of your session, go to the email and click on the link provided
  • Sign in with your FIU student credentials 
  • Select “Join A Meeting” 
  • Enter Meeting ID or Personal Link ID 

WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO USE A LAPTOP OR DESKTOP, AS MOBILE DEVICES DO NOT INCLUDE ALL FEATURES PROVIDED BY ZOOM
