CDSSEC Scholarships

Scholarships provided by CDSSEC are funded through the generosity of private and corporate donors. Through these scholarships, we aim to reduce financial barriers and encourage students in engineering and computing to thrive academically, advance personally, and excel professionally.

FLAME Intro Micro-Scholarship

The FLAME Intro Micro-Scholarship is available to Florida International University (FIU) College of Engineering and Computing (CEC) undergraduate students who participated in the FLAME Dual Enrollment Program.

Eligible students can earn up to $500 during their first semester simply by being admitted and enrolled in an FIU CEC major.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Successfully complete the FLAME program (both Fall and Spring semesters)
  • Earn a minimum grade of B in all four FLAME courses
  • Be admitted and enrolled in an undergraduate major within FIU’s College of Engineering and Computing
  • Submit the scholarship application by the deadline for their admitted semester

Application deadlines align with FIU’s Last Day to Add/Drop (Main Session / Session C) as listed on the FIU Academic Calendar.
