Claudius Carnegie

Learning and Mentoring Specialist

Dr. Carnegie currently serves as the Center’s Learning and Mentoring Specialist where he works closely with our peer tutoring and Engineers on Wheels program. Dr. Carnegie is responsible for analyzing tutoring query data and hosts professional development workshops for our tutors on a monthly basis. As part of the Engineers on Wheels program, Dr. Carnegie works alongside CD-SSEC staff and K-12 teachers on the development of outreach programming that is aligned with state educational standards and curriculum guidelines. Dr. Carnegie brings over 30 years of educational expertise to the team. He received his doctorate degree in Higher Education Leadership from Nova Southeastern and holds a B. Sc.(Honors) degree in civil engineering from Loughborough University of Technology in the UK, as well as a M. Eng. degree in civil/structural engineering from Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, and he is a licensed Professional Engineer (P. E.), in multiple International jurisdictions.
